In a series of blogs, we will be featuring some of the wedding specialists who have generously agreed to contribute to one couple’s dream wedding, our big prize at the Enchanted Evening event in September. It is fitting that we start with Jennifer Pritchard Couchman, as her beautiful wedding gowns will be star of the show on the evening.
Return to the Catwalk
Jennifer Pritchard Couchman, a leading designer of bridal gown and evening wear in the north west of England, is making a return to the catwalk to launch a new collection of gowns for the 2019 season. The show will be a charity event raising money for North West Cancer Research.
Following the birth of her daughter in 2013 Jennifer took a break from design to concentrate on being a mum…

Beautiful Bespoke 2019 Collection
Based in Lancaster, Jennifer is working on the new 2019 collection.
“I love working with my clients to their guidelines or at least a starting point for what they wish for! But these new gowns are completely my ideas – my inspiration, my style which is really exciting.”
The gowns can be timeless classics or innovative pieces of art! But always created in the finest fabrics, silks and laces, cut and hand made to perfection, with a perfect fit!
Better Than a Photograph
Jennifer will be inviting some past brides and evening clients along to the show to model their gowns, before Jennifer’s own models take to the catwalk!
“I think people will love to see my clients in the dresses I have created for them! It’s much better to see gowns in real life rather than simply a photograph”.
Jennifer will also be showing her Enchanted children’s wear dresses, which she designs with fellow designer Karen Casper.
One Lucky Bride!
Jennifer is contributing a beautiful hand-made bespoke wedding gown to our ‘Win a Wedding’ couple. She will work with the bride to make her dream dress a reality. As well as designing the bride’s dress, Jennifer is also offering a contribution towards a choice of her dresses for Chief Bridesmaid and flower girl.
