Lancaster House has a whole host of wedding suppliers attending our Enchanted Evening event on 21st September.
Over the next few weeks we will be introducing you to the people who are the experts at creating a lifetime of happy memories from your ‘I do’ moments. As part of our ‘Win a Wedding’ feature on the night, one couple will be guaranteed a beautiful bespoke wedding cake completely free of charge. It will be Caroline Hoyles of Creative Cakes mixing a whole lot of love into those particular wedding tiers.
Cakes from a Country Workshop
Creative Cakes was established almost twenty years ago. Originally I was based in the city of Lancaster, but about five years ago I made the decision to move my mixing bowls and creativity to the country, and work from home. I designed a purpose-built workshop and have never looked back….I love it!
Bespoke Creations
Gone are the days when wedding cakes had to be a fruit cake covered in white icing. Now the choice is endless, from naked cakes to metallic cakes covered in edible flowers! I enjoy meeting with couples to start the creative process of delivering their unique centrepiece. Some have a very specific design in mind, others have a vague notion of the style of cake they might like. Usually there is at least a colour palette or a flower scheme that the cake needs to complement.
I provide a choice of sponge and filling flavours, including the ever popular chocolate cake. Frosting finish designs are also very popular at the moment. Traditional fruit cake base and wedding cupcakes are also an option.

I’m delighted to be part of the Lancaster House Enchanted Evening event. For the ‘Win a Wedding’ couple I am offering a design consultation and a three-tiered cake to the value of £400 which I will deliver to Lancaster House for the big day.
