Samantha Riley of The Hair Sanctuary at Lancaster House loves to chat to brides and wedding parties about their dream wedding hair styles.
The Hair Sanctuary, although based at Lancaster House, invites clients from far and wide, not just hotel guests. Our clients enjoy the benefits of being able to park outside the hotel and have a leisurely cup of good cup in Sandeman’s Bar either before or after they have their hair styled. It makes a trip to the hairdressers more of an occasion. There’s a really friendly atmosphere within the hotel and once our clients find us, they become part of our loyal clientele.

Romantic wedding styles by The Hair Sanctuary
Jayne, another of my two stylists, also has a wealth of experience in the industry. We specialise in both the latest fashions as well as the more classic styles and offer precision cutting and colouring. We also offer a barbering service for men.
We invite our brides to the salon but we also travel to wedding venues throughout the North West.
Specialising in wedding hair, Samantha shares five of the most popular wedding hair styles …
These modern Updos are relaxed and very stylish. They are quite intricate to put together, and can be a mix of classic styles, loose waves and braids. Wispy tendrils low set give a soft romantic look.
Brides have started wearing ponytails for their big day recently. They can be a fusion of glamourous set waves to low set and tied at the nape of the neck.
Becoming increasingly popular are styles that are swept to one side. This can include braids and twists and create a glamorous, but soft style. Perfect backdrop to some stand out earrings or reveal the back detail of a stunning wedding dress.
It’s classic, but still very popular. It can be slicked back, or softened by untucking a few tendrils.
As popular as ever. The romantic relaxed updo. Chic and stylish. What is not to love!
