Six Certificates of Excellence for English Lakes

Today English Lakes has received a Certificate of Excellence award from TripAdvisor for each of our six individual properties. The accolades, which honours hospitality excellence, is given only to establishments that consistently achieve outstanding traveller reviews on TripAdvisor, and is extended to qualifying businesses worldwide. Approximately the top 10 percent of accommodations listed on TripAdvisor receive this prestigious award.

Low Wood Bay, and Waterhead, near Ambleside, Storrs Hall, The Wild Boar Inn, near Windermere, Lancaster House, by the university in Lancaster and the famous Midland hotel in Morecambe have all been awarded the 2012 Certificate of Excellence.

To qualify for the Certificate of Excellence, businesses must maintain an overall rating of four or higher, out of a possible five, as reviewed by travellers on TripAdvisor. Additional criteria include the volume of reviews received within the last 12 months.
