Simon, Diana and Elliott Berry recently visited the Open Arms village in Eldoret, Kenya. As well as getting to know the children who are now living in the village and enjoying a much improved quality of life, they were able to help mark out the plot where the English Lakes orphan home will be built. This home, made possible by the fundraising efforts of the staff of English Lakes, will house 16 orphaned children and two sets of house parents. Whilst there, they were also able to see first-hand how the village is becoming self-sustaining with crops and livestock and their plans for extending the village.
