The British Gas Great North Swim will return to lake Windermere on Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 September 2010. Entries have opened early to coincide with the launch of the Great North Swim TV programme which will be shown on Channel 4 this Sunday (13 December) at 8am.
The hour long programme will show highlights from the two-day event which took place this summer at the Low Wood Hotel.
Over 5000 participants have already signed up to take part in the inspiring swim and organisers, Nova International, predict that entries could close before New Year.
